Summertime...

Hello,

   Hope summer’s treating you well and that you’re having a great time out there! Lately we’ve been studying for our uni/college exams and watching Garfield grow. We are also into making and drinking summer cocktails with our friends (Tony is getting really good in making Caipirinhas and Margaritas. He looks like a scientist when he is mixing the ingredients) We are also planning to start walking on the beach and start swimming around later this month. The only thing that brings us down is that we won’t be able to visit our favorite festival in the world. Indietracks festivalL. This year Indietracks has an amazing line up and we would love it to be there. In other news we will be writing new songs soon but we don’t know if we are going to make a new release this year. We also uploaded a new video on youtube from the Velvet bus tour that took place some months ago. It was an amazing experience and we had lots of fun. We also made some new friends and shared the stage with three really cool bands that we love (The Callas, The Velvoids and Nasty Beach).  We are sure that we will meet onstage again and it will be  perfect like it always is.

Weekend!

Lately we've been practicing hard for our upcoming tour with the Velvet Bus. We couldn't tour with a full band, so we had to make some backing tracks to accompany us on-stage. Actually we had to start them over because the first ones wouldn't give the feeling that we wanted. So we started freaking out a little bit but our friend Stratos saved the day! He came at the studio and in two days everything sounded amazing. We would like to thank him for being such a cool friend. Stratos is the guitarist/multi instrumentalist of the band Exposed By Observers, they are a really energetic cool band that we like a lot.

Here is a little gift. It is a live performance of our song "Gloomy Morning". This version was recorded for the pilot of a TV Show that never made it on air.

We will be announcing a couple of post velvet bus gigs soon.

Packing up

Last week we performed at one of the biggest radio shows in France. It is called “Le Fou Du Roi”(of the radio station France inter). Many well known artists have performed on this show. (Peter Doherty, Katie Melua, Cyndi Lauper, Phoenix and Rufus Wainwright just to name a few). We played our song “Early Summer”. It was an amazing experience. We were also excited to meet  Claudia Cardinale in person.

That same night we went at the closing party of this year’s Festival du film Francophone. There, Terpsichore almost made Emir Kusturica fall on the floor! It was a really awkward moment for us but he was really cool. He just smiled and kept on walking. We couldn’t believe that we met him that way!

In other news, we are getting ready for a Greek tour with the Velvet Bus.Imagine a bus full of bands and cool artists. We are so excited to be on the road again. The velvet bus is a moving festival curated by the Velvet magazine.

Festival du Film Francophone

Hello everyone!
We would like to let you know that tomorrow morning we will be performing at this years Festival Du Film Francophone. The event will be broadcasted in France by one of the most heard shows on the french radio, "Le Fou Du Roi"! We are really excited about that! We will play our song "Early Summer" from our album. You can listen to the show here.

The show starts around 11:30 a.m. so make sure you tune in on time.  
If you want to be there, you are welcome! The show will take place at the auditorium of the french institute (Sina 31 kolonaki). Make sure you bring your I.D. with you in order to enter the building. The entrance is free.

News news news

Hey there!
We haven't written here for some days now, so we thought that we should do something special to make it up to you and our little blog!
We had some time off yesterday and we made this video in our living room. Garfield makes a guest appearence as well.
So, here it is:

  In other news, we are proud and happy to be playing at this years "Festival du film Francophone". Catherine Deneuve, Anna Mouglalis and Claudia Cardinale will be there and we really hope to get a chance to meet them! That would be amazing! We will perform one song on the last day of the festival. Our performance will be broadcasted in France from the radio program "Le Fou du roi" which is the most listened to show in France in it's time slot (feeling nervous!).
   We will have more info about that soon. Here, you can check out the program and the news of the festival.

In other, other news now, we will be touring around Greece for two weeks at the end of April to early May.  It will be a whole lotta fun and we really can't wait.

Garfield

We are extremely proud of our beautiful puppy ,Garfield.
I know,you'll say "what?a dog named Garfield?" but he loves sleeping,eating and he is red(kind of) so it seems like it suits him.
What's more ,he hardly ever barks, he mostly meows ,which is weird of course but so convenient at the same time (have you ever heard of a neighbour annoyed by a cat?That's what I'm talking about!)

And last but not least,we have to admit that being huge Garfield fans ourselves,we have always wanted to name something after him.It just happened to be our beloved puppy. :)
